I’m sure Thomas Allen is a favorite artist of many fellow book-cover-lovers. Though best known for his “action collages” of remixed pulp paperback covers, it appears that he’s branching out a bit. His concept shots from his work for O Magazine are especially nice to see.

Angus Hyland and his team at Pentagram have designed Beat IV: The Rime of the Ancient Mariner; a fully illustrated edition of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s epic poem published by the Heart Agency to showcase the work of their roster of illustrators.
